Sri Mulyani Starts Handing Over Ex-BLBI Assets To The City Government, Ministries And Institutions, Here's The Complete List

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani today officially began handing over assets of former Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) which the state had confiscated from obligors and creditors to the city government (municipal government) as well as ministries and institutions.

According to the Minister of Finance, these assets will be optimized for the development of government facilities and infrastructure as well as those oriented to the public interest.

"This activity is proof of public accountability, because the BLBI Task Force was formed by the President to be able to take concrete steps to be able to take the rights of the state," he said in a press conference broadcast through virtual channels, Thursday, November 25.

The Minister of Finance added that the initial handover ceremony for the assets of the former BLBI to be utilized was worth a total of IDR 492.2 billion with a total area of 426,605 square meters of land converted in a number of locations in Indonesia.

"By fulfilling the need for assets from local governments and ministries and institutions, it is hoped that it will have a positive impact by increasing services to the community," said the Minister of Finance.

In detail, the following is a list of the assets of the former BLBI.

1. Grants to the Bogor City Government for assets located in Bogor City with an area of 103,290 square meters worth Rp345.7 billion

2. One plot of land in Bandung City with an area of 1,263 square meters to be used as a BNN office building

3. One plot of land in Bandar Lampung City with an area of 482 square meters to be used as a BNN office building

4. Land and buildings in Batam City with an area of 483 square meters to be used as a state house (mess) for the Ministry of Finance

5. Land and buildings in Semarang City with an area of 1,790 square meters to be used as an office building for the Ministry of Finance

6. Land and buildings in Makassar City with an area of 150 square meters to be used as a socialization house for the Ministry of Finance's exports

7. Land and buildings in Samarinda City with an area of 153 square meters to be used as a state house (mess) for the Ministry of Finance

8. One plot of land in Pantai Cermin, Serdang Bedagai Regency with an area of 120,000 square meters to be used as the Main Base Office of the Indonesian Navy

9. Land and buildings in Central Jakarta City with an area of 1,107 square meters to be used as an educational dormitory for ulama cadres

10. One plot of land in Lhokseumawe City with an area of 2,274 square meters to be used as a BPS Office Building

11. Land and buildings in West Jakarta City with an area of 613 square meters to be used as an archive building for the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment

12. One plot of land in Pantai Cermin, Serdang Bedagai Regency with an area of 80,000 square meters to be used as the command headquarters and the Police mess

13. Two parcels of land in South Lampung Regency with an area of 115,000 square meters to be used as the command headquarters and mess of the Police
