Fake Death Letter, Head Of KUA Bali Evening Becomes Suspect

BADUNG - Head of the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) of Petang Subdistrict, Badung Regency, Bali, Abdul Munir, has been named a suspect in the case of forging death certificates.

Apart from Abdul Munir, the Badung District Attorney's team of investigators also named another suspect, namely Suraji. The two work together to forge death certificates.

The Head of the Badung District Attorney's Office, I Ketut Maha Agung, said that his party had carried out stage two, namely the transfer of suspects and evidence.

"The two suspects around August 2019 took place at the KUA of Petang Sub-district, Badung Regency, the suspect Abdul Munir, the Head of the Evening Regional KUA, committed the crime of forging letters," said Maha Agung, Wednesday, November 24.

The suspect made a death statement and a fake death certificate on behalf of Diah Suartini which explained that Diah had died.

"Where exactly is the victim still alive and well so far," he added.

In addition, the suspect Abdul Munir also falsified the ID cards and family cards of suspects Suraji and Hernanik. The document was used by suspect Suraji as an attachment to the requirements for marriage arrangements between suspect Suraji and Hernanik.

"Where the suspect Suraji is still the legal husband of the victim Diah Suartini. So with this, it causes harm to the victim, which has a psychological impact on the victim, who is still alive today," continued Maha Agung.

Two suspects were charged with Article 263 of the Criminal Code or Article 264 of the Criminal Code or Article 264 of the Criminal Code.
