Dubai Police Luxury Patrol Car Fleet Expands, Audi R8 Coupe Turns Over

JAKARTA - Dubai Police, United Arab Emirates is famous for its rows of luxury supercars in its patrol cars. Putting the Emirati police at the forefront of the use of supercars.

Recently, the Dubai Police have upgraded their collection of luxury supercars to their patrol car fleet, with the addition of a pair of supercharged Audi luxury sedans.

Not just any Audi, as the new fleet joining is the Audi R8 Coupe V10 RWD, combining style with extraordinary power, housing a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 540 horsepower.

This high-octane car has a top speed of 320 kilometers per hour and can reach 100 kilometers per hour. in just 3.7 seconds.

"The free-breathing V10 engine is exciting, with unrivaled sound, lightning-fast response and incredible pleasure in turning," Dubai Police said in a statement, citing The National News November 23.

With the addition of these two Audi R8 coupes, Dubai Police now owns 33 supercars, including a Ferrari, Aston Martin Vantage, Bugatti Veyron, as well as several Porsches, Bentleys and McLarens.

"Dubai Police have always been interested in promoting the safety and security of the Emirate, and maintaining its position as one of the safest destinations in the world," said Brigadier Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, director of the Dubai Police General Criminal Investigation Department.

He credits the squad's partnership with Al Nabooda Automobiles in helping assemble the top-of-the-line roster.

"We are pleased and proud of our long-term partnership with the Dubai Police General Command which began in 2014," said Kunjithapatham Rajaram, CEO of Al Nabooda Automobiles.

Last month, Dubai Police unveiled the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, which has a starting price of $95,260 for the 2021 model, and the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.
