Complained By DPRD, Anies' Subordinates Promise To Improve TGUPP's Performance

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Regional Secretariat Government Assistant Sigit Wijanarko admitted that his party would improve the performance of the Governor's Team for the Acceleration of Development (TGUPP) which the DPRD had complained about so far.

This was conveyed by Deputy Chairman of Commission A DPRD DKI Inggad Joshua. Inggad conveyed that the promise of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan's subordinates was conveyed during the previous meeting with Commission A.

"Pak Assistant (Sigit) has promised that they will correct the problems related to the performance of the TGUPP," said Inggad during a meeting of the DKI DPRD Budget Board at the DPRD building, Wednesday, November 24.

Because of this promise, Inggad admitted that Commission A of the DPRD approved the TGUPP salary budget of Rp. 19.8 billion in the 2022 APBD Draft, provided that the TGUPP did not hinder the work of the DKI regional work units (SKPD).

"As long as the TGUPP can help the interests of the people of Jakarta behind the scenes, without being rude to the SKPD, then we are willing. But if it happens again that affects the performance of the SKPD, then we frankly don't accept it," said Inggad.

In response to this, the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta, Marullah Matali, agreed to Commission A's request from DPRD to ask TGUPP not to take care of the operational activities of SKPD.

"As stated by Mr. Inggad, I will confirm. What you said earlier with what my friends at the Government Assistant have committed, it has become our internal discussion," replied Marullah.

Previously, Member of Commission A of the DKI DPRD, Gembong Warsono, admitted that he was surprised that during the term of office of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, which will end in October 2022, the TGUPP budget proposed in 2022 is actually larger than the 2021 APBD.

"In 2021, the allocation for TGUPP will be around 18 point a few billion rupiah. In 2022, the budget allocation will actually increase to 19 point a few billion," said Gembong.

What needs to be criticized, Gembong assesses the role of TGUPP is very central in the running of government in the capital city. As a result, the space for regional work units (SKPD) is hampered.

"It doesn't feel good, an official from the provincial government, the head of the service writes a letter until it is copied to the TGUPP. This indicates that the role of the tgupp is extraordinary," said Gembong.

Along with this, Gembong requested that the TGUPP budget be abolished in the 2022 RAPBD. However, this depends on the approval of the DPRD leadership.
