DPR Members Remind The Importance Of Digital Literacy

JAKARTA - Member of the House of Representatives Commission I Rizki Sadig reminded the public to understand digital literacy. So according to him, people should not just spread information that has not been confirmed.

"It's not only good people on it (the internet), there are bad people, there are people who want to produce creativity, there are people who want to spread hate, there are people who want to do cyber bullying," Rizki said in an online discussion, quoted Wednesday 24 November.

He also asked the public to be wary of online loan offers that are rife. Precisely the advancement of technology through digitalization is an opportunity that is a pity to pass up.

"Especially to adapt more to technological advances, friends, don't forget to give understanding to people who still don't understand technology," he said.

Related to this, Esa Unggul University Academician Gun Gun Siswadi said internet users should be able to take advantage of this facility to improve welfare. Especially now that potential customers are spread from local to international.

"Our prospective customers are not only in one country, not only in one province, not only in one district, but also throughout Indonesia, from Sabang to Merauke," he said.
