Solo Satpol PP Hunts Vandalism Perpetrators Through Vandalism Leaflets And Scribbles On Manahan Flyover

SURAKARTA - Solo City Satpol PP, Central Java is looking for the perpetrators of vandalism through leaflets found at several points in the local city. Leaflets containing insults against coach Persis were found after the defeat against PSIM some time ago.

"We began to know that Sunday, November 21, morning when the morning patrol started there (writings and leaflets, ed.). It spread, and even used banners were found on trees. There are still a lot of them," explained Solo City Satpol PP Head Arif Darmawan in Solo, Antara, Tuesday, November 23.

The Satpol PP also coordinates with the local police to identify the perpetrators of the vandalism through CCTV.

"We asked who installed the CCTV. In this case we will cooperate with the police," he said.

When asked about the contents of the leaflets and messages on the wall, one of which was on the Manahan flyover, Arif was reluctant to explain in detail.

"We have no authority on the content, more on the inappropriate installation. That he did vandalism, polluted the environment, damaged trees," he said.

He said later if the perpetrators of the action are known, the seriousness of the violation will be seen.

"If the violation is high, we will raise it for investigation and then tipping (minor crime). If it is light, we will provide guidance," he said.

In this regard, the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, said he would look for the perpetrators of the action. "We are looking for the culprit, this has not been seen on CCTV," he said.

He also regrets that the vandalism was carried out at the Manahan flyover considering that the flyover is a new building.

"It's very unfortunate, it's new. We'll clean it later," he said.
