Defense Minister Prabowo Receives French Foreign Minister's Visit
JAKARTA - Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto received French Foreign Minister HE Jean-Yves Le Drian. The meeting discussed strategic partnerships.
Prabowo's meeting with the French Foreign Minister was held at the Ministry of Defense building, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 23. Discussion regarding the strategic partnership between Indonesia and France in the defense sector which was signed in June 2021 in France.
Quoted from a written statement by the Public Relations Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense, the defense cooperation between Indonesia and France covers various fields, such as intelligence, military training and education, science and technology, defense industry.
There is also cooperation between peacekeeping forces, combating terrorism and developing and researching the defense industry, including joint production.
