COVID-19 Update As Of November 23: 394 New Cases, 434 Healed More
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 281,441 specimens were examined with the result that there were 394 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,253,992 people and 7,916 active cases", said Ministry of Health data, Tuesday, November 23.
Today's recovered cases increased by 434 cases, bringing the total to 4102,323 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 9 people and a total of 143,753 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 69 cases and a total of 863,551 cases. Followed by West Java with 58 new cases with a total of 707,403 cases. East Java has 43 new cases and a total of 399,190 cases. Then, Central Java with 40 new cases and a total of 486,108 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 166 recovered cases. Followed by East Java with an additional 51 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 50 recovered cases, and DKI Jakarta with an additional 43 recovered cases.
There are 9 provinces that reported no new cases today, namely Jambi, Bengkulu, Riau Islands, South Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, Maluku and North Maluku. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 52,531,079.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.20 percent", he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 5,908 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
So far, 135,417,063 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 90,227,782 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 1,212,026. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
