Police Investigate Cause Of PT Dua Kelinci Factory Fire In Pati

SEMARANG - Police are still investigating the cause of the fire that hit the PT Dua Kelinci factory complex in Pati Regency, Central Java.

"Still being investigated, Inafis Polres Pati is already at the location," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police Kombes Iqbal Alqudusy in a press release quoted by Antara, Tuesday, November 23.

Temporary suspicion, he said, the fire started in the building where the peanuts were roasted.

Iqbal said that not the entire PT Dua Kelinci factory complex was burned in this incident. In addition, he said, there were no casualties in the fire.

The extinguishing process was carried out by firefighters from a number of local governments and companies in the area, including Satpol PP and TNI/Polri officers.

According to Iqbal, it took about 3.5 hours to extinguish the fire.

"The public has been advised not to crowd around the location so that the process of extinguishing and cooling can be completed quickly," he said.
