Through The Account Of The Late Ani Yudhoyono, SBY Said That Prostate Cancer Surgery Went Smoothly, According To Expectations

JAKARTA - The 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) has successfully undergone major prostate cancer surgery at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, United States. According to him, the operation went as expected.

"In accordance with the expectations of both the Indonesian team of doctors and the Mayo Clinic team of doctors and of course my own expectations," said Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono through the official Instagram account of his late wife Ani Yudhoyono, Tuesday, November 23.

The chairman of the Democratic Party (PD) High Council revealed that after major surgery, he was still recovering. He also frequently went to the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, United States (USA) after major prostate cancer surgery.

"So far, after the action carried out 11 days ago, the team of doctors concluded that what I experienced was in line with expectations for anyone undergoing surgery to remove prostate cancer," said SBY.

Previously, the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said that his father Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's (SBY) operation in the United States went smoothly on Thursday, November 11.

This was conveyed by AHY through his official Instagram social media account @agusyudhoyono on Friday, November 12, at 07.00 WIB.

"On Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 07.45 Rochester time, Mr. SBY carried out an operation on his health condition at the Mayo Clinic Hospital. At approximately 10:00 (United States time), the operation was declared complete," said Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.

He said that SBY's post-operative condition was declared stable. "Alhamdulillah, thanks be to Allah SWT, the operation went smoothly and Mr. SBY is in a stable condition," said AHY.
