No Backgorund As Chair Of Commission III Of The DPR, Bambang Pacul: This Is Politics, I've Been Secretary Of The Faction For 14 Years

JAKARTA - Bambang Wuryanto, who is familiarly called Bambang Pacul, has been appointed as Chairman of Commission III of the DPR replacing Herman Herry, who has been rotated to Commission VII.

After being sworn in, the Secretary of the PDIP Faction revealed that he is a party official who is ready to be placed anywhere. Including in Commission III, although Bambang Pacul does not have a legal background.

"The answer is ready. Do you have leadership capabilities, you must have a size, whether you can afford it or not. There is no legal background, yes. But politics, this is legal politics. That means policy, there are laws and regulations. So don't worry," said Bambang Pacul at Parliament building, Monday, November 22.

According to Bambang Pacul, he will carry out his duties as chairman of Commission III of the DPR well.

"So if your statement is how Mr Pacul is going forward, of course I can also ask what do you want from the police. To the police, you must want to be a nurturing policeman, who can give him a calm feeling, protect him. Then together we learn not to violated the law. I agree," said Bambang.

"In the prosecutor's office how, of course we have. We will all listen to the voice of the people. What do you want the people to do. Well, that is what we will formulate together with our friends in Commission III. Because politics is a consensus. There is a desire like this is how we behave together. There is a problem like this, how is our attitude together. That's right," he continued.

Bambang assessed that the public need not worry about his duties as chairman of Commission III of the DPR even though he has no experience in the field of law. Because, he has the ability in politics as well as Herman Herry.

"In terms of our supervision process, we have legal approval to supervise. It's easy. So, Pak Pacul's experience with legal matters is not there? That's true. But Commission III has also had a chairman who had no legal background, including Pak Herman Herry yesterday who did not have a legal background. But everything is okay. Why, because politics is different," he said.

Bambang explained that politics is the science of life. So, he said, sensitivity is seeing the dynamics that exist in the field and resolving them with laws and regulations.

"What is Pak Pacul's capital? One thing you noted, Bambang Pacul is the secretary of the faction since April 2007. What year is this? 2021. He has been the secretary of the faction for more than 14 years. What is secretary? Secretary from the word secret, which means secret," said Bambang .
