Revenge And Economic Difficulties, Robbers And Killers Of Security Guards In Surakarta Cigarette Warehouse Turns Out To Be Former Employees
SURAKARTA – Hospital (21), the perpetrator of the robbery of a cigarette warehouse as well as the death of a warehouse security guard on Jalan Brigadier General Sudiarto, Serengan, was finally arrested by Polresta Solo, Central Java.
RS was arrested on Monday, November 19 by the Criminal Investigation Team of the Surakarta Police at his home in Sidoharjo District, Wonogiri, Friday, November 19.
It is known, in the bloody theft case, a warehouse security guard named Suripto (32) died with injuries to his head.
"Only four days later (since the incident, November 15), the perpetrator was arrested at his home. This case is a planned action," explained Solo Police Chief Kombes Pol Ade Safri Simanjuntak, based on information received by VOI, Monday, November 22, morning.
In addition to arresting the perpetrators, said Ade Safri, the police also secured a number of evidences ranging from Rp. 310 million in cash, crowbars, and a number of cell phones.
"Currently, the officers are still looking for the safe. The perpetrator is detained at the Solo Mapolresta detention center," he said.
Previously, the former Karanganyar Police Chief explained that at the time of the crime scene (TKP), there were no signs of damage to the main door.
Ade said that evidence of clothes hangers made of metal was found, about 3 meters from the victim's position of the cigarette warehouse security guard.
"The iron hanger that was found to be held by the victim at the time, including the bathroom door not too far from where the victim was found dead, was damaged. It is suspected that the perpetrators had carried out violence in the incident," explained Ade.
Meanwhile, the Head of Humas Kombes Pol M Iqbal Alqudusy said the perpetrators were desperate to carry out their actions for economic reasons and revenge factors.
"The perpetrator is a former security guard who was fired a few months ago. He admitted that he was desperate to act because of revenge and economic reasons," he said.
Since the beginning of the investigation, explained M Iqbal, there have been suspicions that the victim knew the perpetrator. Based on the findings in the field, finally the police's suspicions turned to the perpetrators of the hospital.
The hospital is threatened with Article 340 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder with a maximum sentence of life to death, as well as Article 365 of the Criminal Code on theft with violence with a maximum threat of 15 years in prison.
