2 Ormas Members Made Suspects, Police Chief Asks Other Perpetrators To Immediately Surrender, Before His Party Arrests
JAKARTA - After undergoing the investigation process, the Tangerang Metro Police Satreskrim finally named two suspects for the clashes that occurred on Jalan Raden Fatah, Cipondoh District, Tangerang City.
"2 suspects are from PP (Pancasila Youth). Yes and it has been proven and an initial investigation has been determined through the case stage process. Then it has been determined who are concerned, of which 2 people are suspects from the PP," said Tangerang Metro Police Chief Kombes Deonijiu De Fatima to reporters , Monday, November 22. Deonijiu also said that the determination of the suspect was carried out after the Tangerang Metro Police Satreskrim conducted an examination of five members of mass organizations.
"Lastly 5 of the 5 we asked for information and the others did not have elements, two of which were designated as suspects," he explained.
Examination and investigation did not stop at these two people. Deonijiu admitted that he would take firm action against acts of thuggery that often make people restless.
"We are still doing security. There must be (other suspects) but this is still in the process, we are still looking for from the FBR group. Now this is still from the team conducting the search investigation," he said.
The police chief asked the perpetrators of the violent beating to surrender. Moreover, the Tangerang Metro Police Satreskrim is now collaborating with the Jatanras Polda Metro Jaya to hunt down the perpetrators of the violence.
"Our hope is that those who have committed criminal acts surrender themselves. They are responsible for surrendering themselves. But if they don't surrender, we will still look for arrests," he explained.
Previously, it was reported that two mass organizations namely PP and FBR were involved in a clash on Jalan Raden Fatah, Cipondoh District, Tangerang City, Friday, November 19, evening. The clashes are thought to have been sparked by a seizure over the parking lot. As a result, 5 people were injured, 3 of them seriously.
