Public Awaiting Anies' Response Regarding Social Media Troops MUI DKI, NU: So There Is No Impression Of Governor Paying
JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU) Regional Management Samsul Ma'arif urged DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to provide clarification regarding the formation of a cyber team or cyber army.
Samsul considered that if Anies did not clarify, then the alleged formation of a social media force to defend Anies from buzzer attacks was true. In fact, Anies could be considered paying MUI for personal gain.
"Anies, if you are reluctant to provide clarification, there is an impression that the governor has paid MUI for his sake. Anies should invite other members of the MUI deliberative council to immediately hold a meeting and straighten out the main tasks of the MUI," said Samsul when contacted, Monday, November 22.
Not only that, Samsul also asked the MUI Advisory Council to summon the DKI MUI to provide an open clarification to the public.
Because, according to him, MUI as a religious institution functions to support positive government programs, not pairs of bodies to defend political figures in the development of the cyber army.
"I regret the attitude of the DKI MUI for creating a cyber army, because this has deviated from the real main task of the MUI. In the end, the impression is that MUI is being used. Second, MUI can be considered as an open front for political activities," said Samsul.
"So, my input, the MUI deliberations board immediately asked for clarification, held a meeting, summoned the leadership of the DKI MUI to clarify because this has deviated from the main task of the MUI," he added.
As previously reported, the DKI Jakarta Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) through the Information and Communications Sector (Infokom) held a Coordination Meeting for the Information and Communications Sector throughout DKI Jakarta.
One of the decisions of the coordination meeting was to conduct a massive defense of the Governor of DKI Anies Baswedan when he was attacked by a hoax by a buzzer.
At that time, the General Chair of the DKI Jakarta MUI KH Munahar Muchtar Munahar also hoped that Infokom and the DKI MUI extended family would be able to defend and assist the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Rasyid Baswedan, who has worked hard for the people of the capital.
If the buzzers look for Anies' mistakes, Infokom is asked to immediately play the narrative of Anies' success, both nationally and internationally.
"He is one of the 21 heroes of the world. For the news, I asked the DKI MUI to appoint it because we are partners with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government,” said Munahar.
After much discussion, Munahar emphasized that the cyber team he formed would only help Anies. Other Jakarta clerics deemed to be performing well and then being attacked by buzzers will also be defended.
"Is it for Mr. Anies only? No. If there is a Jakarta figure, he acts for the citizens of Jakarta, then the benefit is good for the citizens of Jakarta, MUI is ready to support and support and cooperate," said Munahar.
