Meanwhile, the confirmed positive cases who died increased by 72 people and a total of 5,593 people. Then, the cases recovered today increased by 1,912, so that a total of 77,557 people recovered.
The province with the most cases recovered today belongs to East Java with an increase of 489 recovered cases. Followed by Papua with an increase of 223 recovered cases, DKI Jakarta with an increase of 195 recovered cases, and Central Java with an increase of 194 recovered cases.
Then, there are 3 provinces that reported having no new cases today. The provinces are Bengkulu, North Kalimantan and East Nusa Tenggara.
In addition, the number of specimens examined reached 1,663,315. In detail, 1,627,959 specimens were examined using real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and 35,356 using molecular rapid tests (TCM).
