COVID-19 Update As Of November 20: Found 393 Positive Confirmed Cases

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) has updated data regarding the handling of COVID-19. In which, from 274,972 specimens examined today, 393 confirmed positive cases were found.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,253,098 and 8,154 active cases," said Ministry of Health data, Saturday, November 20.

Today's recovered cases also increased by 379, bringing the total to 4,101,216 recovered people. Then, the number of deaths increased by 14, bringing the total to 143,728.

The Ministry of Health data also noted several provinces with the most new cases. For example, DKI Jakarta with 114 cases. Then, Central Java with 55 cases, West Java with 43 cases, and West Kalimantan with 36 cases.

In addition, there are also several provinces with the highest number of recovered cases per day. DKI Jakarta with 154 cases, East Java with 34 cases, Central Java with 33 cases, and North Sumatra with 26 cases.

On the other hand, 26 provinces reported adding under 10 positive confirmed cases. For example, Gorontalo, North Maluku, Bali, and Papua.

In fact, 4 provinces reported no additional confirmed cases of COVID-19. Among them, Southeast Sulawesi, Bengkulu, Riau Islands, and Maluku.

To date, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 51,483,621.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.21 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 4,982 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
