Praveen/Melati Trending, Netizens: Si Ucok Should Out, Melati Still Eligible For National Training
JAKARTA - Indonesian mixed doubles, Praveen Jordan / Melati Daeva Oktavianti have recently been in the spotlight and trending on social media. This is the aftermath of their communication in the field which is considered problematic.
Praveen/Melati's poor communication when appearing in the last 32 of the Indonesia Masters 2021 was rumored to be due to personal problems off the field. This even made their coach, Nova Widianto, give an ultimatum.
Quoted by VOI from the Twitter account @ainurohman who is a sports journalist, Nova Widianto the coach even issued a scathing criticism.
“XD Nova Widianto's coach said: the separation of Praveen/Melati is not an option. But if they want to go their own way and without responsibility, leaving the National Training Center can be an option," he wrote.
The upload was immediately flooded with comments from netizens who were no less worried about what happened to Praveen/Melati. Many of them also suspect that the chaos in communication in the field is due to their personal relationship.
A number of netizens even immediately cornered Praveen, who was considered the culprit of the communication failure that made Melati also affected. Therefore, they also urge Praveen to step down as Melati's duet.
