Female Prisoner In Class IIB Singaraja Bali Prison Allegedly Tried Suicide By Drinking Detergent
BULELENG - A female prisoner with the initials F initials attempted to commit suicide by drinking liquid detergent in a Class IIB Singaraja prison cell, Buleleng Regency, Bali.
Head of Class IIB Singaraja Prison Mut Zaini confirmed the incident. The attempted suicide occurred at around 21.00 WITA, Thursday, November 19.
"Yes, that's right, at 9 last night," said Zaini, Friday, November 19.
The drug convict tried to commit suicide in his cell by drinking detergent. His cellmate reported to prison officials.
Next, prison officers came and took F to the health clinic. Now F is just undergoing recovery.
"The person concerned is normal. He has improved, because there is no foamy vomiting and others. His condition has recovered," he added.
The motive for this female prisoner is not yet known. Inmate F is a drug convict who was transferred from the Kerobokan Prison, Badung, Bali.
This female prisoner was sentenced to 10 years and has already served two years in prison.
"Yes, he moved to Kerobokan Prison and has been in prison for two years," said Zaini.
