Jayawijaya Police Provide Basic Food Assistance To Disaster Affected Residents In Yahukimo, Papua
PAPUA - Jayawijaya Police Chief, AKBP Muh Safei provided assistance to victims of natural disasters that occurred in Yahukimo Regency, Papua Province.
The aid for nine basic commodities (sembako) was handed over directly to the people who were doing rock-raising for victims of the natural disaster that occurred in Pontegpilik and Helapilik Villages in Oroggoli District in Jayawijaya Regency, Friday, November 19.
"I am also concerned about what happened to the people of two villages in Yahukimo Regency. I hope this assistance will at least help the people who are victims," he said.
At the time of handing over the aid which took place at the Cross Monument, Jayawijaya Regency, the Head of the Resort Police appealed to the fundraisers to be orderly and not to disturb the flow of traffic.
"We, the Jayawijaya Police, invite us to work together to keep the Kamtibmas situation in Jayawijaya safe and conducive," he said.
Representatives of the community who raised the aid, expressed their gratitude to the Chief of Police for helping their residents there.
"We are ready to help the police maintain the security and social order situation and are also orderly in asking for help so as not to interfere with traffic flow," he said.
