Anti-Mafia Land Task Force Actions Throughout 2021, Handle 69 Cases
JAKARTA - The National Police said that the Anti-Mafia Land Task Force had investigated 69 cases throughout 2021. Of the dozens of cases, 61 people have been named as suspects.
"The target for the completion of the program cases in 2021 is that 69 land mafia cases have been handled," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo in his statement, Friday, November 19.
Dedi detailed that of the dozens of cases handled until this October, 34 of them have entered the investigation stage. Then, 15 cases have been transferred to stage two and 14 cases in stage one.
There are also 5 cases that are still under investigation. Meanwhile, one case was investigated with a Restorative Justice approach.
"With the number of suspects in the land mafia case as many as 61 people," said Dedi.
Of the dozens of suspects, only 7 were detained. While the number of suspects who have not been arrested as many as 23 people.
In addition, 29 suspects have been transferred to the Prosecutor's Office. However, there are still some who are fugitives.
"Two people are still being hunted or added to the People's Wanted List (DPO)," said Dedi.
