Gerindra To Apriyandi Fired For Not Contributing Rp5 Million: File Dispute Claim To Court
JAKARTA - The decision of the Gerindra Party DPP to fire Apriyandi as a member of the Tanjungpinang DPRD is final. If you object, Apriyandi please file a lawsuit to the court.
The dismissal refers to Decree No. 11-0327/Kpts/DPP-Gerindra/2021 which was broadcast in a number of online media. Gerindra's reason was because Apriyandi did not pay his income contribution as a member of the Tanjungpinang DPRD, so he was declared to have violated the party's AD/ART.
Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, said the dismissal of cadres who did not carry out their obligations was final and binding based on the decision of the Party Court.
"If the Party Court is regulated in Law No. 2 of 2012 concerning Political Parties, it is final and binding internally. It remains only for the person concerned to file a dispute with the court against the decision of the party court," said Habiburokhman when contacted by VOI, Friday, November 19.
"But if it is internally binding, there will be no more objections," he continued.
Furthermore, said Habiburokhman, Apriyandi's status in the Tanjung Pinang DPRD will be changed from time to time (PAW) by the cadre with the next highest number of requirements.
"Automatically (PAW to, ed) the next most requirements. I do not memorize one by one, but replaced below it with the most votes," said the spokesman for the Gerindra Party.
Habiburokhman admits that many cadres do not pay dues as a party obligation, not only Apriyandi. It's just that, he said, the party first sent a warning. If it is ignored, then action is taken.
"Many, but there are warning letters once or twice to pay. But there are some who have been reminded but do not carry out their obligations, one of them is like that," he said.
Habiburokhman did not know the exact technical deadline for payment of contributions. However, this obligation has been regulated in the party's articles of association.
"I don't understand the technicalities, but what is clear is that it is an obligation that has been regulated in the articles of association," said Habiburokhman.
After learning that Gerindra had been fired, Apriyandi immediately submitted a letter of objection to the party's central board. He hopes the Gerindra Party DPP will review the decision. The reason is that he feels that he has carried out his duties and obligations as a cadre of the party, as well as a member of the legislature.
"I have integrity and loyalty to the party that has raised me. That has been proven," said the member of Commission I of the Tanjungpinang DPRD as quoted by Antara.
Apriyandi also feels that the accusation that he violated the party's AD/ART is not true, because so far he has contributed to the party. However, in the last six months, he admitted that he had not deposited the donation, because various information emerged that he would be fired as a member of the Tanjungpinang DPRD.
"If it is considered that all this time, I have not contributed income as a member of the legislature, of course that is not true because in the last two years I have contributed," he said.
