Reza Rahadian Is Ready To Be Hated By Mothers For Breaking Up Kites
JAKARTA - The latest series from WETV Original, Layangan Putus produced by PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) which will air on November 26. 2021 on WeTV and iflix platforms. This series was adapted from a viral story on social media which was later written into a novel.
Director Benny Setiawan paired Reza Rahadian, Putri Marino, Anya Geraldine and also Frederika Cull, Putri Indonesia 2019. WeTV Original Layangan Putus was also supported by Arif Brata, Marthino Lio, Ricky Wattimena and others.

Layangan Putus tells the story of Kinan and Aris's married life, which looks always harmonious, and slowly turns dark after Kinan finds out the fact that Aris shares his love for other women. Pushed to the brink of separation, Kinan realizes that his household is now in danger of becoming a broken kite that has lost its way, carried away by the wind of uncertainty.
Playing the role of Aris, Reza Rahadian admitted that he was ready to be hated by the audience, especially mothers. "On the shooting location, all the female cast and crew didn't like Aris. So if you were asked what kind of women do you hate? Really ready. Because the story is like that. In fact, the more hated it is, the better it means that my acting is successful," he explained.
