Mario Gomez Has Left, Arema FC Players Continue To Carry Out Training According To The Program
JAKARTA - Arema FC preparations ahead of the continuation of the League 1 competition in early October will have a trial. The coach, Mario Gomez, decided to resign because he did not agree with the contract renegotiation policy made by PSSI.
Apart from Mario Gomez, the assistant Marcos Gonzales also chose the same step. Of course, the departure of two important figures in the team can have a negative impact on the team.
However, this was denied by another Arema FC assistant coach, Charis Yulianto. According to him, the exercise program went on as usual. He said the players were still doing the training program provided by Mario Gomez.
"While waiting for the head coach to arrive, we will continue to carry out the program the physical coach has been given to the players," said Charis.
He said the training camp (TC) ahead of the League 1 kick-off was also on track. It will probably be done three weeks before the competition starts. This, said Charis, will be communicated with the club management.
Apart from practice, the pilot program will also continue as planned. The 42-year-old man revealed, the club nicknamed Singo Edan will conduct trials with the pre-season system.
"We are still going according to plan until the competition starts. The trial plan is still there so we stick with the pre-season model, including TC which we will communicate with team management," said the former Sriwijaya FC player.
Until now, there has been no issue regarding the potential replacement for Mario Gomez in Arema FC. The club management seems to be still trying to seduce the coach into resigning from the head coach chair.
