Some Of Nirina Zubir's Family Lands Have Been Sold, Some Have Been Mortgaged To The Bank
JAKARTA - The police stated that the suspect of the land mafia with the victim's family, artist Nirina Zubir, had sold and mortgaged the proceeds of his crime. In fact, the nominal pawned reached billions.
"Where are the results? Then he (suspect Riri) pawned it," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Brigadier General Yusri Yunus to reporters, Thursday, November 18.
Based on the interim inspection, four lands have been mortgaged and two have been sold. The proceeds from the sale and the doubling were also divided equally among the suspects.
"Then there was another Rp. 1.3 billion pawned, Rp. 1.5 billion, this was then used by the perpetrators and divided equally," said Yusri.
In addition, the Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Tubagus Hidayat, said that the investigation into this case had not yet been completed. Because, investigators will explore the crime of money laundering (TPPU).
"We are still investigating the money laundering case," said Tubagus. For information, Nirina Zubir became a victim of the land mafia. There are 6 land certificates that suddenly change ownership status.
In that case, Nirina is said to have suffered a loss of Rp. 17 billion. The police have named five suspects.
The suspects were charged with Article 378 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 372 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 263 of the Criminal Code. They face up to five years in prison.
