Recalling Ministry And Boars In The Middle Of Ganjar's Praise To Bambang Pacul Who Leads Commission III

JAKARTA - The PDIP faction of the DPR has rotated a number of council equipment or AKD. The leader of Commission III of the DPR, which was previously filled by Herman Hery as chairman of the commission, has now been replaced by Bambang Wuryanto alias Bambang Pacul. Meanwhile, Herman Hery is now a member of Commission VII DPR. There is something interesting about the appointment of Bambang Pacul as Chairman of Commission III of the DPR. The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, who had been 'attacked' by Bambang, actually congratulated the Chairman of the Central Java PDIP DPW.

"Congratulations to Mas Bambang Pacul for being the chairman of Commission III, hopefully he can provide reforms to the fields there," said Ganjar when met on the sidelines of planting activities in Cilacap Regency, Thursday, November 18.

Ganjar, who is also a former member of the DPR RI, hopes that Bambang can provide reforms in Commission III in charge of law, human rights and security.

"Because the field there is about law enforcement about the entire terminal justice system that is there. Hopefully it's a trust," said Ganjar.

Ganjar did not hesitate to praise Bambang Pacul. According to him, the secretary of the PDIP faction in the DPR has extraordinary experience in this field.

"Oh, I have (the ability, ed), the experience is great, mas hoe," said Ganjar.

Ganjar's praise for Bambang certainly reminds him of the dynamics of PDIP's internal politics. Where, Bambang had 'blocked' Ganjar's desire to run as a presidential candidate from the PDIP in the 2024 election. At that time, Bambang's name came out after an internal consolidation meeting of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) led by DPP chairman Puan Maharani. The meeting did not invite Ganjar Pranowo, even though the governor of Central Java was a bull cadre.

Except for Ganjar, all regional heads, members of the DPR, members of the provincial and district level DPRDs throughout Central Java attended the meeting held at the Central Java PDIP DPD Office, Panti Marhaen Semarang, Saturday 22 May 2021.

"Not invited! (Ganjar) wis kemajon (too late). Yen kowe is smart, ojo cheminter (If you are smart, don't be smart)," said Chairman of the PDIP DPP for Election Winning and Chairman of the Central Java PDI-P DPD (Central Java) Bambang Wuryanto.

In Javanese, Keminter means pretending to be smart. Then, who is Bambang Wuryanto who called Ganjar Pranowo the cheminter?

Bambang Wuryanto is a senior PDIP politician. In parliament, Bambang Wuryanto or familiarly called Bambang Pacul serves as Secretary of the PDIP Faction. He is also Deputy Chair of Commission VII DPR RI, the commission in charge of Energy, Research and Technology. The man who was born in Sukoharjo, Central Java, July 17, 1956, is known as one of the confidants of Puan Maharani, the daughter of the PDIP General Chairperson who is now the Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

Bambang Pacul has been a confidant of Puan Maharani since Puan served as chairman of the PDIP Faction of the DPR RI for the period 2012-2014. He often attends events attended by Puan Maharani. After calling Ganjar Keminter, Bambang calls his supporters 'the wild boar' Polemics warning Bambang to Ganjar about nyapres subside, his name is again dragged into the party's internal conflict. Bambang, who served as chairman of the PDIP Election Winning Body, was again under the spotlight for calling the volunteer supporters of Ganjar Pranowo a boar.

One of the reasons that Bambang Wuryanto or better known as Bambang Pacul chose the word boar was because the declaration preceded PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.

“There is an adage in the PDI-P, that those outside the ranks are not bulls. It's called a boar. So, whatever the reason, the declaration, if it's outside the line, it's a boar,” said Bambang Pacul. How was Ganjar Pranowo's response? Instead of replying to Pacul's satire, Ganjar relaxed and even seemed to defend himself. According to Ganjar, the satire only reminded the cadres to be orderly in the party's rules.

"It reminds everyone to be in order, that's all," said Ganjar, Wednesday, October 13.
