JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has officially inaugurated two important figures who hold the baton to maintain Indonesia's defense and security. The two are General Andika Perkasa as TNI Commander and Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman.
General Andika and Dudung's moments of happiness were also uploaded by social media activists Permadi Arya or Abu Janda on his official Instagram, @permadiaktivis2, Wednesday, November 17.
In the upload, Abu Janda alluded to Dudung's actions, who removed Rizieq Shihab's billboard after his arrival from Saudi Arabia.
According to Abu Janda, the removal of the former frontman of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) was not just an ordinary action. It is a symbol of intolerance.
"General Dudung sent down not just billboards..but a symbol of intolerance. A symbol of the trash of civilization. BRAVO GENERAL!" wrote Abu Janda in the caption for the uploaded photo of Dudung and the TNI Commander.
General Dudung, according to Abu Janda, will be remembered as a brave patriot. Abu Janda also congratulated the two TNI officials.
"You (Dudung, ed) will always be remembered as a brave and patriotic man. Congratulations on your duty, the new Army Chief of Staff and of course the Commander in Chief," wrote Abu Janda.
When removing Rizieq Shihab's banner, Dudung served as the Regional Commander of the Jaya Military Command (Pangdam Jaya) with the rank of Major General. Dudung admitted that the removal of Rizieq Shihab's banner was his order.
"A person in a shirt took down Habib Rizieq's billboard, that's my order," said Dudung after carrying out a series of events for disaster preparedness and regional elections at Monas, Central Jakarta, Friday, October 20. soon to be installed. After all, every community who wants to install billboards should obey the applicable rules, including the location of the installation and have to pay taxes.
"Anyone in this Republic, this is a state of law. You must obey the law. If you put up billboards, there are clear rules, there are taxes, and the place is determined. Don't do it on your own as if he is the right one. There's no such thing," he said.
