In Addition To Sickles And Swords, One Of The Perpetrators Of Brawl In Depok Brings A Golf Club
JAKARTA - Members of the Jaguar Team of the Depok Metro Police have arrested five teenagers while they were about to engage in a brawl on Jalan Raya Tanah Baru, Jemblongan Village, Pancoran Mas District, Depok City, Wednesday, November 17 in the morning. The five teenagers named their gang Jemblongan City (Jemcy 12).
The Head of Jaguar Police at the Depok Metro Police, Iptu Winam Agus, said that the five teenagers arrested by Jaguar members belonged to the Jemcy 12 gang.
"The five teenagers, with an average age of 19 years and above, had previously agreed to live brawls around the location through social media," said Iptu Winam to reporters, Wednesday, November 17.
Iptu Winam added that his opponent was a Tanah Baru child, but he did not come to the location where the meeting was set.
"The perpetrator's opponent was hiding in another area. Right when the Jaguar team was on an observation patrol, they were immediately chased down and successfully secured," he said.
After being secured, continued Iptu Winam, the perpetrators were taken to the Nusantara Police Post at the Sengon intersection, Jalan Raya Sawangan to collect evidence of sharp weapons which were secured by officers.
"There are five sharp weapons that we confiscated, allegedly belonging to the perpetrators for use in brawls, which were found in the hidden locations. The evidence was three sharp weapons, one sword, and one golf club," he said.
