Present At The Funeral Home, This Woman Shares Memories With Max Sopacua

JAKARTA - The funeral home of politician Max Sopacua in Gang Kepatihan, Jalan Veteran, Bogor, West Java, began to be visited by a number of residents, relatives and other Bogor Regency State Civil Apparatuses (ASN).

A number of condolence wreaths were leaning in front of the funeral home. One of the flower bouquets on display came from the Regent of Bogor, Ade Yasin. The bouquet of flowers from the Bogor Regent is written, condolences for the death of H. Zulkifli bin Adam (Max Sopacua).

From VOI's observation, residents helped each other build a tent in front of Max Sopacua's funeral home. The body was buried on Wednesday, November 17, after the midday prayer.

According to neighbors around the deceased's residence, Max Sopacua was a good person who really cared about the residents around his residence.

"At least in the 1970s-1980s, Pak Max lived here. Thank God, all of his family are good and have a good society," said Indri, a neighbor of politician Max Sopacua, Wednesday, November 17.

The good thing that Indri still remembers is the kindness of Max Sopacua who often distributes basic necessities to all residents without any difference.

"In the past, the residents here often gave basic necessities. For Eid, all residents were given basic necessities," he said.

In addition, the kindness of the late Max Sopacua that is still attached to the people's memory is the construction of roads for the community.

"Ever made a road. If anything happened, Mr. Max always gave the biggest amount of funds. He likes to make donations," he said.

Previously, Max Sopacua had undergone treatment at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital in Jakarta for his illness. Max breathed his last at around 05:53 WIB at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital in Jakarta.

Max is a senior Democratic Party politician. Prior to his entry into politics, Max was a presenter and producer of sports events on Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) during the New Order era.
