24 Prisoners Escape From Special Children's Prison, 13 Successfully Arrested 11 Still Wanted

JAKARTA - A joint team from the Jambi Regional Police Resmob and the Batanghari Police have re-arrested 13 prisoners from the Batanghari Police. They escaped on Monday, November 15 at dawn from the cell of the Special Child Development Institute (LPKA) in Sungai Buluh Village, Muarabulian District, Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province.

The Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Regional Police, Kombes Pol. Mulya Prianto, said that the 13 detainees, in detail, six detainees had been re-arrested. Meanwhile, seven others have surrendered or were handed over by their families. They have all been detained at the Jambi Police detention center.

"Now there are as many as 11 more detainees who have not been caught and are currently still being searched by a joint team from the Jambi Regional Police and the Batanghari Police," Mulya said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 17.

Data from the police on the identity of the Batanghari Police detainees who have been arrested as many as 13 of the 24 prisoners who escaped, namely Rahmat Dwi Putra bin Suhendra for the drug case surrendered, Rendi Danuarta bin Manap (Drugs), Riadi alias Puyuk bin Sazili (Drugs), Syahrur Rizqi bin M Nursin (Drugs) fifth Al Amin bin M Awi (Drugs), Gunawan alias Agun bin Sarip (Drugs), the seventh Deden Ariandi Prayoga bin Sugiono (Drugs).

Then Juan Veron bin Bastian (Drugs), M Revaldo bin Zulkaisam (Drugs), Resgianto alias Gawu bin Rajono (deposited by the Public Prosecutor), Iwan Septiawan bin Suryadi (entrusted by the prosecutor or Batanghari Attorney General), Arri Sakti bin Suryadi (Drugs) and Antonius Virgo alias Pendi bin Zawawi (Illegal Driling).

While the rest of the prisoners who have not been arrested are 11 people and their data are Ito Wahyudi bin Hamzah (detainee of Judge), Dedek Veron bin Bastian (Drugs), Fransiscus Xaperius Rio son of Piktor Arus Petrus (Drugs), Rikhy Evalino Akbar bin Ismail (Drugs), Mat Tarjamin bin Matna (Ilog), Eggy S Bentala bin Rahmat Gamalsia (Drugs), M Sobri Harahap bin Duski Mirja (Drugs), Yunus bin Efendi (drugs), Ledi Azwar bin Hamzah (Drugs), Sodikun bin Suparman (Drilling), Joko Purnomo bin Tulus (Drilling).

Detainees who have been caught will be deposited in the Jambi Police detention center with escorts from the Traffic Unit, Intelligence Unit, Crime Investigation Unit, Sabhara Batanghari Police and Brimob Police Unit Jambi Police.

"As for the 11 detainees who have not been found in the pursuit process, based on instructions from the Jambi Regional Police Chief, within one week, all the escaped prisoners have been arrested," he said.
