Ignited A Spark, The Electric Cable Network In Cengkareng That Was On Fire Is Now Extinguished

JAKARTA - Sparks appeared on the overhead cable network Jambu Street, RW 01, Duri Kosambi Village, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta. The fire caused the residents in the area to panic and immediately contacted the firefighters.

"Information was received of an aerial cable fire at around 04.45 western Indonesia time. One unit of a fire engine was dispatched to the location," said Head of the Operational Section (Kasiop) of the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. Suket told reporters, Wednesday, November 17.

Arriving at the location of the fire, Gulkarmat officers immediately extinguished the fire on the aerial cables.

"The fire was successfully extinguished at 05.20 western Indonesia time. The object caught fire from the aerial cable, the cause is still being investigated," he said.

Luckily, there were no casualties in this incident. Meanwhile, the case of the burning of the aerial cable is still under investigation by the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat).
