DKI's Odd-Even Socialization Is Extended To August 9th
JAKARTA - The socialization of the even-odd system is extended for the next four days. So, enforcement of ticket sanctions against violators of this rule has not been implemented.
"Our socialization will be extended until August 9," said the Director of the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Thursday, August 6.
Initially, the socialization of the ganji-even system was carried out since August 3 and ended on August 5, 2020. Then, on August 6, the enforcement manually or through the electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE) system will be enforced.
However, due to the lack of dissemination of information about the regulation and the number of violators is still quite high, it was decided to extend the socialization period.
Kasubdit Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Fahri Siregar added, with the extension of the socialization period, it is hoped that the community will no longer be reasoned that they do not know the application of odd-even rules in the Capital City.
"We want to re-confirm this information because in recent days violations have been found. We believe there are some people who have not been informed. So we want to confirm the information again," said Fahri.
For your information, the odd-even system applies to 25 roads. Time restrictions that apply on working days start at 06.00-10.00 WIB and 16.00-21.00 WIB.
