Seriously! 2 Weeks Old Baby Stored In Instant Noodle Cardboard, Thrown Beside The Salon

MAKASSAR - The police are continuing to develop and pursue the perpetrator who was monitored by residents when dumping the baby after being found in Manggala Village, Manggala District, Makassar, South Sulawesi.

"We are still developing it according to the statements obtained from witnesses at the scene. This is still under investigation," said the Manggala Police Commissioner, Police Commissioner Supriady Idrus, at the location, Jalan Inspeksi PAM, Manggala, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, November 16.

He said, so far the team is still gathering information related to the case. Even from the testimony of witnesses, the characteristics of the perpetrators have been identified.

From the observations of the medical team, this baby weighs three kilograms, with a body length of 51 centimeters alive. Then he was taken to the Antang Health Center using a patrol car to ensure his health.

"The condition of the baby is in good health. It is estimated that he is approximately two weeks old. After being examined at the puskesmas, we took him to Bhayangkara Hospital," he said.

For further treatment, they have coordinated with the Makassar Social Service while at the same time restoring the baby's condition.

"We will take care of (the baby first). Because most likely this baby is the result of an extramarital relationship. When you look at its condition, it looks like it has been treated by its parents, it continues to be stored (discarded) next to this salon where it was first found," he said.

Meanwhile, the owner of the salon who became an eye witness, Sri Rahayu (46), who was also the first person to find the baby, explained that the baby's condition was healthy, white skin wrapped in a sarong in an instant noodle box. He found it on Tuesday, November 16, at around 10:00 WITA.

"At that time there was something strange, there was a cardboard box next to my salon, it was placed on the table of the ice-cold shop. I saw, it was a baby, so I brought it into the salon," he said.

Out of concern, he finally reported the baby's discovery to the head of the local RT, then excited until he was advised to report the finding to the police. At around 16.00 WITA, the police came and took the baby.

Rahayu, who has seven children, plans to adopt the child but there are rules and requirements about it.
