Commission IX Oversees Dispute Issues Of COVID-19 Payment Claims In North Sumatra
JAKARTA - Commission IX of the House of Representatives came to North Sumatra to oversee the issue of payment of COVID-19 claims to all hospitals.
Deputy Chairman of Commission IX DPR RI Ansory Siregar said his party would like to confirm this with a number of related parties at a meeting at the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office.
"We have come to North Sumatra to see and oversee the dispute over hospital claims regarding the financing of COVID-19 patients. We will bring it to a meeting to be discussed by Commission IX," explained Ansory in Medan, North Sumatra, Tuesday, November 16. .
The issue of disputed claims was obtained during a Hearing Meeting (RDP) of Commission IX of the DPR RI with the Director General of Health Services at the Indonesian Ministry of Health, BPJS Health, the Indonesian Hospital Association (PERSI) and the Indonesian Vertical Hospital Association (ARVI) a few months ago.
Ansory said Commission IX of the DPR RI made a visit this time in order to follow up on the findings of the RDP.
"Considering at that time, there were still several issues raised, including disputes caused by administrative constraints," explained the PKS politician.
Some of the dispute issues, such as patient data and identity, are still hampered by the Ministry of Health's e-claim system and BPJS Health's e-claims, such as unreadable documents that have been uploaded, to patient criteria that do not comply with the provisions.
Up to the problem of the lack of manpower in the hospital, resulting in delays in submitting claims.
The Ministry of Health itself has formed 34 provincial-level claim dispute settlement (TKPD) teams, one of which was met at this kunker in North Sumatra. It is hoped that the existence of the team will be able to solve the problem of COVID-19 claims that many hospitals have complained about.
