MEDAN - The Binjai Police Narcotics Unit team arrested a drug dealer with the initials DK. The perpetrator was arrested by the police who disguised himself in a goat pen on Jalan Sei Sekala, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra.

Binjai Police Narcotics Head AKP M Rian Permana said the disclosure started from information from the public who said that a goat pen in the area was the perpetrator of narcotics transactions.

"We immediately ordered members to conduct an investigation. In order not to miss the target, the personnel carried out an under cover buy by transacting Rp. 100,000 for the price of one package of methamphetamine," said AKP Rian accompanied by the Head of Public Relations Subdivision of AKP Siswanto Ginting, Tuesday, November 16.

AKP Rian said that during the transaction, the police immediately arrested the perpetrators of DK. During the search, 21 packages of crystal methamphetamine were found which were placed on the table next to the suspect.

"At that time the officers also arrested the suspects with the initials AN and AP. At that time both of them were at the TKP and had bought 1 small package of methamphetamine at a price of Rp. 50 thousand from the suspect DK," he explained.

Meanwhile, from the results of the interrogation carried out, the DK perpetrator admitted that the methamphetamine was his.

"The goods were obtained from someone with the initials HB having their address in Medan, currently the status is DPO," he explained.

Furthermore, the police also conducted a search at the suspect's house not far from the location of the arrest. From the perpetrator's house, 3 packages of narcotics were found in the cell phone box.

"Behind the suspect's house, a box of glasses was found which contained 1 electric scale and 2 empty plastic clips," he said.
