When Looking For Croaking Birds, A Man In Labuhanbatu Is Found Dead

MEDAN - A man's body was found in the bushes of an oil palm plantation in North Rantau District, Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra.

The man is known as Nasrul Anul Nasution (31), a resident of Sirandorung Village, Labuhanbatu Regency.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Labuhanbatu Police, AKP Parikesit, confirmed to VOI that the body was found. He said the incident began on Saturday, November 13. At that time, the victim left with the aim of going to the field.

"Then witnesses, on behalf of Pahrizal, Indra, Jalal and Arpian, went to look for victims. Witnesses looked for victims where the victims often looked for croaking birds," said AKP Parikhesit, Monday, November 15.

Sure enough, the witnesses found the victim in the fields belonging to a resident who was already dead and lying in the bushes.

"Then the witness informed Kepling. Then Kepling reported it to the Labuhanbatu Police," he said.

After receiving the report, the police immediately went to the location and carried out the investigation of the crime scene. However, AKP Parikhesit could not confirm the cause of death of the victim.

"We are still investigating the motive. Our victims are autopsied to determine the cause of death," he said.
