PeduliLindung Is Now Connected With The Traveloka App

JAKARTA - The Safe Entrance feature of the PeduliLindung application can now be used in the latest version of the Traveloka travel and lifestyle booking application (v.3.42).

In addition to providing convenience for the public, especially Traveloka users, to access PeduliLindung which is an important aspect for mobilization in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, this initiative is also part of Traveloka's commitment and support for the government's efforts in dealing with the pandemic in the country.

Setiaji, Chief of Digital Transformation Office (DTO) of the Ministry of Health said the integration of PeduliLindung on partner platforms, including Traveloka, is part of the government's efforts to expand the use of PeduliLindung for public safety and security.

"The PeduliLindung application has three main functions, namely screening vaccination status and swab test status, performing tracking functions to quickly find out if there are positive cases, and supporting the implementation of health protocols. We welcome and appreciate the support from all partners, including Traveloka, " said Setiaji in a press release quoted by Antara, Monday, November 15.

Meanwhile, Alfonso Hartanto, SVP of Traveloka Platform, said that the collaboration between Traveloka and the Ministry of Health for the integration of the PeduliLindung QR Code scan on the Traveloka platform encourages efforts to implement strict protocols to break the chain of spread of COVID-19.

"The application of health protocols in public places is currently a very important new norm, including the use of PeduliLindung which has become a mandatory requirement in a number of places and travels. We hope that the connection of the PeduliLindung application with Traveloka can enable people to mobilize easily, safely and comfortably , thus making a positive contribution in overcoming the pandemic through the use of technology," said Alfonso.

The Safe Entrance feature connected to PeduliLindung can be accessed through the “My Account” channel or in the “QR Code Scanner” located in the Homepage Search Bar. The following is the mechanism for using the Safe Entrance feature that is connected to the PeduliLindung application:

1. Open the Traveloka App (make sure you are using the latest version: v.3.42).

2. Use the QR code scanner located in the Search Bar on the Home page or by accessing the My Account page.

3. Users who access the My Account page will be directed to the Safe Entrance page. Meanwhile, users who enter from the Search Bar, will be directed to scan the QR code first.

4. For those who have registered, can click the Scan QR Code button without the need to fill in the name and NIK. For those who have not registered, they are required to fill in their Name and NIK to continue scanning the QR code to the Safe Entrance feature.

5. After scanning the QR Code available in public places, the Safe Entrance page in the PeduliLindung application will display Venue Information (venue name, venue description, crowd count, 3M info, and check-in feature).

After clicking the check in button, the application will display user eligibility information to enter the destination with the following color code:

a. Green - Eligible to enter public places (have received a full dose of vaccine, have not contracted COVID-19 with a negative test result).

b. Orange - Eligible to enter a public place (having received the first dose of vaccine, not contracting COVID-19 with a negative test result).

c. Red - Not eligible to enter public places (test results show positive for COVID-19).

d. Black - Not eligible to enter into public places (test results show positive for COVID-19, close contact).

"Although currently COVID-19 cases have decreased compared to the spike that occurred in June and July, we still have to implement strict health protocols and comply with applicable regulations to stop the spread of the virus. We believe that the joint efforts made, including by integrating the Safe Entrance feature in the Traveloka application, can protect the wider community from the COVID-19 virus and encourage the acceleration of post-pandemic recovery," said Alfonso.
