In Garut, There Is Rp300 Million Of Money Prepared By The Regent For Health Workers Who Make Cool Videos About Vaccinations

JAKARTA - Garut Regent Rudy Gunawan admitted that he had prepared a total of Rp. 300 million for health workers. To do this, they are required to make interesting and unique documentation of vaccination activities as an appreciation for the officers in the field who succeeded in the COVID-19 vaccination.

"We give gifts to those who are in the field, I ask the SKPD to also participate, in the context of vaccinations that we carry out simultaneously," said Rudy Gunawan in Garut, West Java, Monday, November 15.

Regent Rudy said, the prize will be given during the 209th anniversary of Garut Regency as a form of appreciation from the local government to health workers who have struggled to make vaccinations successful and in handling the COVID-19 outbreak.

Such a big prize, he said, was given to content creators in the category of very good, favorite and adorable ratings.

"We will give prizes in the form of very good, favorite, and adorable video clips, the total prize is around Rp. 300 million which we will distribute later on on the 209th birthday," he said.

He hopes that all officers involved in the implementation of vaccination can accelerate vaccination by targeting all people, especially the elderly vaccine target, which is currently still below 40 percent.

The vaccination achievement, said the Regent, is targeted to reach 2 million doses before the 209th anniversary of Garut Regency on February 16, 2022.

"We are targeting 1.5 million doses of one on December 25, 2021, and then on Garut's birthday before February 16, 2022 we have reached 2 million (dose)," he said.

He said that currently the achievement of dose 1 vaccination is more than 50 percent of the total vaccine target of 1.9 million people, so Garut will enter the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Level 2.

"God willing, Garut Regency will enter Level 2," he said.
