Travis Scott Concert Victims Increase To 10 People, There Are Small Children
JAKARTA - The riots at Travis Scott's annual festival concert, Astroworld continue to reap casualties. This time, there was a nine-year-old child who was declared a victim in the incident.
The victim named Ezra Blount came with his family to attend the Astroworld event on Friday, November 5. Ezra idolizes Travis for watching the rapper in action through the video game Fortnite.
Unfortunately, the music concert became the end point of the boy's life. When Travis Scott appears, a riot begins and Ezra falls to the ground while his father falls unconscious.
Launching NME, Ezra was immediately rushed to the hospital and fell into a coma because there was some damage to his organs including his heart, brain, and liver. Ezra died on Sunday, November 14 and was announced by the Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner.
“Tonight, our city is praying for his mother, father, grandparents and family members. They need our support for months and years to come. May God give them strength," Sylvester Turner said on Twitter.
The Blounts were also among the audience who sued Travis Scott and promoters Live Nation for taking the lives of their members.
“Ezra's death is very painful. We want to find answers and justice for the Blount family. But tonight we stand in solidarity with the family," said attorney Ben Crump.
Ezra Blount became the 10th victim of the Astroworld concert riot while 17 others are still being treated in hospital.
