East Java Police Launches 12 Units Of INCAR And SKRIP Vehicles

SURABAYA - The East Java Regional Police (Polda) launched 12 units of INCAR (integrated node capture attitude record) and SKRIP (driver history screening) vehicles at Bungkul Park, Surabaya.

This program is the latest innovation carried out by the Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of the East Java Police in controlling when driving on the highway.

East Java Police Chief Inspector General Nico Afinta said this vehicle is a ticketing vehicle similar to electronic traffic law enforcement (Etle) which is located at several points in the East Java region. His job is to take action against vehicles that commit traffic violations.

The vehicle is equipped with a super-sophisticated camera because it can calculate the speed of driving and capture images of vehicles that are known to violate traffic signs or rules.

"This INCAR can record in real time the compliance with traffic rules that are connected to regident data (registration and investigation. If you violate it, we will send a letter to the address that is in accordance with the data in the regident and the dukcapil data. We will send a ticket through the POS Office) ," he said, Monday, November 15.

Nico explained that the innovation of making INCAR and SKRIP is nothing but carrying out the instructions of the National Police Chief that there is no longer any direct action and digital replacement.

"The East Java Police have made an innovation to detect violations committed by the community based on digital data without direct contact with the community. Thus reducing touches and mistakes. This is in accordance with the National Police Chief's instructions that police officers (then) do not have direct contact but there is public education through applications," he explained.

The East Java Police Chief said that the most important innovation was to bring order to the community in order to avoid traffic accidents. Meanwhile, only 12 vehicles have been launched which are spread over several points.

"We ask every Polres to do the same thing, so that the number of accidents in East Java can be reduced," he said.
