Many Political Parties Criticized For Lack Of Cadreization

JAKARTA - PDI-P DPP chairman Djarot Saiful Hidayat said his party was consistent in carrying out regeneration in a modern way.

This was conveyed in response to statements from a number of parties if political parties in Indonesia did not carry out their function of preparing leaders at the central and regional levels.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta emphasized that the tiered regeneration carried out by PDIP was the answer to this kind of criticism.

"With its various activities, PDI-P has responded to various criticisms that say that most political parties do not carry out regeneration. We are consistent. Before others, PDIP has already held cakada party schools and legislative candidates, continuous tiered regeneration," said Djarot during an introduction event. National Cadre Education (PKN) DPP PDIP in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Monday, November 15.

He said that as a pioneer party, the party bearing the symbol of the bull continues to carry out regeneration in stages through continuous and continuous education. Not only conducting PKN but holding party schools for regional head candidates, training of cadre teacher trainers, and other programs.

Djarot explained that this regeneration program was carried out to increase the capacity and ability of cadres in understanding the ideology of Pancasila. So, they will be able to implement it to anticipate and solve problems that exist in the country.

In addition, he also said that the party created by Megawati Soekarnoputri had carried out three main functions of political parties, namely recruitment, education or regeneration, as well as the assignment and placement of cadres.

"This is a form of the solidity of our healthy party. Many regional heads and ministers from the PDI-P have been recognized for their leadership," he said.

For information, the PKN implementation will later be attended by the General Chairperson of PDIP Megawati Soekarnoputri. PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said Megawati would give directions to the cadres this afternoon.

The number of cadres who will take part in this education reaches 77 PKN participants who are representatives of 34 DPD PDIP administrators at the provincial level.

"We will hear together the directions from our general chairman, Mrs. Megawati and at the same time open the national level regeneration at 15.00 WIB," said Hasto. He said there were many things that would be given in this program. The goal is that cadres can become leaders when assigned to internal parties as well as in executive and legislative institutions.

The cadres will also learn and instill attitudes about the importance of discipline, the importance of understanding political systems and theories, the history of the nation's struggles, to the potential threats facing the nation in the future.

"Those are a number of materials that will be presented at PKN, in addition to matters relating to Party policies based on Bung Karno's Trisakti," he concluded.
