Easy Ways To Revoke All Document Access In Google Drive Service

YOGYAKARTA - Google Drive is Google's cloud computing-based document storage service that can be used for various purposes, and can be accessed anywhere.

With Google Drive, users can more easily store and access documents from various devices so they don't have to carry a computer or laptop when working outside the office or home.

In addition, with the features in Google Google Drive, users can easily share their documents with other users, either via email or instant messaging applications such as WhatsApp.

You can also give other people access to your Google Drive storage space. This applies when hiring other people to work on certain projects. Once the project is complete, then you can terminate the access.

In this article the VOI team has put together the steps you can take to revoke all access that other people have to your Google Drive account.

Revoke Google Drive Document Access

The first step you can take is to open Google Drive on your device using the browser application you have.

Next, open the folder containing the documents that someone wants to revoke access to, so they can't access them again.

After that, click Search Options which is next to the search field, and fill in the dialog box that you need to fill in.

A number of options that must be filled in are Document Type (Type), Location (Location) in Drive, and Shared To or Shared To.

After you fill in the search options the user can click the Search icon, and you will get a list of files that you have shared with certain users.

Select the topmost document and then tap the Ctrl + A keys on the keyboard to select all the documents that appear in the search results. Right click, then select Share or Share.

A dialog box will appear indicating that the documents have been shared with other users. On the right side there are access level options that have been given: Viewer, Commenter, Editor.

Then click the Remove icon, to revoke access owned by other users, then click Save.

Thus, the user you selected will no longer be able to access the documents in Google Drive that you own. You also don't have to worry about your files being stolen by others.
