KAI Brings Good News: Lecturers, Doctors, Laboratory Analysts And Radiology Free Long Distance Train Ride

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has added to the list of professions that are entitled to free long-distance train ticket vouchers at the moment of Heroes' Day 2021, namely Lecturers, Doctors, Laboratory Analysts, and Radiology Analysts, starting November 13, 2021.

The voucher can be exchanged for a train ticket for the departure period from 13 to 30 November 2021.

"The addition of professions that get free ticket vouchers is intended to give a wider appreciation to workers in the education and health sectors. These two sectors are a reflection of today's heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic," said VP of Public Relations of KAI Joni Martinus in his statement. in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Sunday, November 14.

Joni explained that the addition of professions entitled to free long-distance train tickets at the moment of Heroes' Day 2021 completes the list of professions that also receive the same program, namely Teachers, Midwives, Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Staff, Administrative Staff, Ambulance Drivers, and members of the Veterans Legion. Republic of Indonesia (LVRI).

Vouchers can be picked up at the Counter or Customer Service at 12 designated stations until a maximum of November 29, 2021.

The 12 stations are Gambir, Bandung, Cirebon, Semarang Tawang, Purwokerto, Yogyakarta, Madiun, Surabaya Gubeng, Jember, Medan, Kertapati, and Tanjung Karang.

The voucher is only valid for trains departing from the voucher collection area, for example voucher collection at Gambir Station, then the voucher is only valid for trains departing from Gambir and Pasar Senen.

"During the program, one identity is only entitled to one voucher or one trip. Voucher collection cannot be represented except for veterans," said Joni.

Public enthusiasm is quite high in welcoming the gifts given by KAI in the celebration of Heroes' Day every November 10.

Of the 11,000 available, until November 12, 2021, 2,059 vouchers have been used by the community, with details of 928 health workers, 1,115 teachers, and 16 veterans.
