Taylor Swift Reveals Reasons For Recording All Too Well 10 Minutes
JAKARTA - Taylor Swift presents a short film titled All Too Well which is a complement to the release of the album Red (Taylor's Version) on Friday, November 12.
Through his latest recording, Taylor has several new things from this album, one of which is the 10-minute track All Too Well. Taylor confirmed that this was the actual duration for the song All Too Well.
While a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Swift shared her experiences and reasons for recording All Too Well.
"At the time I was playing guitar and playing four chords over and over again, and the band started following along and I made an ad-lib, and the song just kept going on and on for the 10-15 minutes we were doing this," Swift said.
“All Too Well the 10 minute version was the original before I had to cut it down to normal duration. Because 10 minutes is weird," Taylor said. It is known that for radio playback, usually a song should be three to four minutes long.
All Too Well was written by Taylor when she was feeling sad about her heartbreak but expressed a different feeling when recording the 10-minute version. "Now, I'm wearing glasses and drinking a mojito, and it's really relaxing," Swift explained.
Regarding the film, Taylor Swift admitted that she liked All Too Well even though this song was not promoted as the main single. It turned out that fans really liked and always sang at every concert so that Taylor became the main single for Red (Taylor's Version).
Fans suspect the song All Too Well was made by Taylor Swift to talk about her relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal. The two were in a relationship for three months in October 2010.
The public also found the story of All Too Well similar to the short film version of 19-year-old Sadie Sink and 30-year-old Dylan O'Brien - the same age as Taylor and Jake when they were dating.
