Using A Green Passport, Sandiaga Uno Flies To Boston To Attend The Graduation Of His Eldest Daughter

JAKARTA - Who is not proud to see their children graduate from campus. The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, felt the same way.

Her eldest child, Anneesha Atheera Uno graduated cum laude in Combined Major, Human Services and Communication Studies, Northeastern University, Boston, United States.

The sister of Amyra Atheefa Uno and Sulaiman Saladdin Uno will also be graduating at the Matthews Arena on St Botolph Street, Boston, Massachusetts, United States, Saturday, November 13.

In order to be able to attend directly at his daughter's historic moment, Sandiaga Uno submitted a request for leave to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

To welcome it, Jokowi also granted the request for his absence for a week, starting from November 11-17, 2021.

So that now Kemenparekraf will be led by Wamenparekraf, Angela Tanoesoedibjo for the next week as ad interim minister.

"I left to follow Mpok Nur who was already in Boston. I was allowed to leave for the next week, I entrusted the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy to Mbak Angela," said Sandiaga Uno.

Armed with a green passport, Sandiaga Uno departed from Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten on Thursday 11 November. Sandiaga traveled about 24 hours before finally landing at Logan International Airport, Boston, United States, Friday, November 12 yesterday.

"Please pray, hopefully it will be carried out along the way until you return to the country," said Sandiaga Uno.

"Because we still have a lot of homework to do, restore the economy, especially tourism and the creative economy, open the widest possible business opportunities and job opportunities for the community," he concluded.
