4 Unscrupulous Lebak Regency BPN Employees And Village Heads Arrested For Alleged Bribery
SERANG – Four employees of the Agrarian and Spatial Planning Office of the National Defense Agency (ATR BPN) of Lebak Regency were caught in a sting operation (OTT). The arrests were made by the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Banten Police, Friday, November 12, evening.
Dirreskrimsus Banten Police KBP Dedi Supriadi said, at the same time, investigators also arrested one person who was not an employee of the Lebak BPN, namely an individual Lurah in Lebak Regency.
"It is true that during the OTT arrest at the Lebak BPN, investigators have secured 4 employees of the Lebak BPN and one Lurah in Lebak Regency," said Dedi via text message, Saturday, November 13.
Investigators from the Banten Police Ditreskrimsus have sealed one of the rooms in the Lebak Regency BPN Office, and secured several files in envelopes, and installed a police line in the Mapping Survey Section room.
“In this arrest operation, we managed to secure several envelopes containing some money. Furthermore, we are still doing the deepening," continued Dedi.
It is not clear how much money was in the envelope. The officer only said that the individual BPN Lebak employee worked in the field of surveys and measurements. Until now, the series of investigations are still ongoing at the Banten Police.
"Furthermore, we are still carrying out investigations and deepening of the 5 individuals in OTT at the BPN Office," he continued.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police AKBP Shinto Silitonga took strict action against corruption in accordance with the findings of the legal facts found, even by carrying out arrest operations.
"We will provide more complete information regarding this OTT on Monday (15 November), because the investigation is still ongoing against the five individuals." Shinto said.
