British Foreign Minister Launches Nurture To Scale Program For 35 Fostered Businesses
BOGOR - British Foreign Minister Elizabeth Marry Truss, usually known as Liz Truss, has officially launched the "Nurture to Scale" program which fosters 35 West Java startup technology businesses to become unicorns.
Liz Truss launched the business accompanied by the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya Sugiarto and the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil.
He was welcomed by the British Ambassador to Indonesia, Owen Jenkins along with the staff of the British Embassy to Indonesia.
"We want to build cooperation in the fields of economics, trade, investment and technology. I can see the energy and excitement in the relationship between technology and creativity as opportunities for the future," said Elizabeth Truss, quoted by Antara, Friday, November 12.
Elizabeth Truss admitted that she could not wait for closer cooperation in the future because according to her, Indonesia was a priority for Great Britain.
In this program, the UK provides assistance funds to build the capacity of the pioneering technology entrepreneur of 35 million dollars.
According to him, Indonesia and Britain are in the right position to lead the revolution to bring creative technology to the fore.
In addition, Liz Truss also hopes that this program can help more women in getting equal opportunities in the economy by ensuring and bringing women entrepreneurs into the world of technology.
"We can't wait for you in our country, thank you for welcoming me to West Java," he said.
