2 Kilograms Of Shabu-Shabu Boiled In Hot Water, BNNP Banten Claims To Save 7,000 Humans From Drugs

SERANG - 1.9 kilograms of methamphetamine, which was confiscated from suspect SA (25) on October 11, 2021, in Area 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, was destroyed by the Banten Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP), by boiling hot water.

"High appreciation for the disclosures made by BNNP, can be a great motivation for us to uncover illicit drug trafficking in the Banten area, synergize with BNNP," said Banten Police Narcotics Director KBP Martri Sonny at the BNNP Banten office, on Jalan Syech Nawawi Al- Bantani, Cipocok Jaya, Serang City, Friday 12 November.

In addition to destroying evidence, the Banten BNNP also revealed a case of circulating 6.2 kilograms of methamphetamine with suspect S (28).

The head of the Banten BNNP, Brigadier General Hendri Marpaung, said the destruction of the 1.96 kg methamphetamine could save the Banten community as many as 7,000 people, if the illicit goods got into the hands of the public.

"But we, it's not enough to stop here. Prevention efforts will continue. We ask all levels of Banten society to jointly fight against drugs, of any kind," he said after the destruction of the methamphetamine.

Meanwhile, the Head of Banten Police Humas, AKBP Shinto Silitonga, assured the public that the Banten Police together with the Banten BNNP will continue to aggressively take action against drug abuse.

"Together we fight drugs to save the younger generation in Banten," concluded Shinto Silitonga.
