Desire Of DPRD Chairman Not Fulfilled, DKI 2022 BTT Budget Becomes IDR 2.5 Trillion
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta DPRD Budget Agency has set a budget allocation for unexpected costs (BTT) of Rp. 2.5 trillion in the General Policy on Budget and Temporary Budget Priority Ceiling (KUA-PPAS) of the 2022 APBD.
This nominal is different from the wishes of the Chairman of the DKI DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi. Prasetyo asked the BTT budget to be reduced to Rp200 billion.
"The BTT budget is fixed, at IDR 2.5 trillion," said Member of the Jakarta DPRD Banggar from the PSI faction, Eneng Malianasari when contacted by VOI, Friday, November 12.
Previously, the Chairman of the DKI DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, asked the Regional Government Budget Team (TPAD) to review the BTT allocation. He asked the BTT budget to be reduced to IDR 200 billion by 2022.
Since 2020, the BTT budget has been used to deal with COVID-19, such as incentives for health workers, vaccination workers, the purchase of coffins, to social assistance for residents affected by the pandemic.
"I ask for the 2022 BTT budget of Rp. 2.2 trillion to be returned to the value of the 2019 BTT budget of only Rp. 200 billion," Prasetyo said in his statement, Wednesday, November 10.
According to Prasetyo, currently DKI does not need to allocate a significant BTT budget. Because the pandemic is relatively under control.
In fact, he continued, the allocation of BTT next year would be better for efforts to recover the economy after the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The rest can be shifted to post-COVID-19 economic growth programs such as the development of MSMEs, the provision of funds and the construction of MSME facilities and infrastructure under the agency," said Prasetyo.
