Lost Strobe Lights For 14 Times, Ambulance Owner In Pulogadung Doesn't Want To Report To Police
JAKARTA - An ambulance carrying a corpse on Jalan Arus Jati, Jatinegara Kaum, Pulogadung, East Jakarta is looking for the targets of the thieves. As a result, the ambulance car's strobe light disappeared. Luckily, the theft was caught on CCTV.
The owner of the ambulance, Ahmad Kosasih said, from the CCTV footage, the perpetrator pretended to be playing with a cellphone when carrying out his action. When a resident passed by, the perpetrator pretended to be playing on a cellphone.
"While playing with his cellphone, the perpetrator immediately pulled the strobe light," he said at the scene, Friday, November 12.
After getting the stolen goods, the perpetrator left the location on foot so that his movements were not suspected.
Kosasih said, the perpetrator was still a teenager. He was sure because from the CCTV footage the perpetrator was still wearing school pants.
"The (perpetrators) are still wearing Scout pants, (like) coming home from school. It happened yesterday afternoon when the situation was quiet after the rain," he said.
Kosasih admitted that the ambulance belonged to him, and so far he has not reported it to the police.
"This has happened twice, a total of 14 strobe lights have gone missing. Haven't made a police report yet. Here, it's prone to robbery crimes," he said.
