Gorilla Tobacco Dealer In Bandar Lampung Arrested, Selling Money Used To Treat Lymph Nodes

BANDARLAMPUNG - Personnel from the Sukarame Police Opsnal Unit, Bandarlampung Police, revealed and arrested one suspect who owned class 1 narcotics, namely gorilla tobacco.

The perpetrators who were arrested were LH (22), a resident of Tanjung Agung, East Tanjungkarang, Bandarlampung. The perpetrator was arrested in a rented house on Jalan Pubian, Sukabumi, Bandarlampung.

The Sukarame Police Chief, Kompol Warsito, said the arrests began with reports from residents of the community possessing class 1 narcotics, the type of gorilla tobacco. Officers immediately conducted an inspection and got the gorilla tobacco in the kitchen of the resident's house.

"After receiving the report, the opsnal unit conducted an investigation and conducted a search and managed to secure one owner of the gorilla tobacco in the kitchen of his house," he said, quoted by Antara, Thursday, November 11.

Warsito said, the perpetrator admitted to getting the gorilla tobacco by buying online weighing 75 grams at a price of Rp. 1,500,000.

"After the perpetrator got the item, then the perpetrator packaged the gorilla tobacco into small packages, and sold the item online through social media," he said again.

The perpetrator was charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) subsidiary 112 paragraph (2) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 5 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a minimum threat of 6 years and a maximum of 20 years.

Meanwhile, the LH actor admitted that he had sold the illicit goods for the past month by being marketed online through social media, and the money from the sale was used for the treatment of diseases.

"It's only been a month, bro, I'm selling this, I'm selling it online through social media, and the money is for me to get treatment, bro, I have a lymph node disease," he said.
